MARK II Stabilizer, a mixture of
alkanolamines designed for use as an additive or component in metalworking fluids to
provide:
- Resistance to Rancidity
(prevents biological growth)
- Corrosion Protection
- Tighter Emulsions
- Enhanced Lubricity
- PH Control
MARK Il exhibits a cost advantage over
biocide additive programs that are designed to control microbial growth but do
nothing for the other features. When used as an additive, MARK II, is compatible with most
ingredients in typical metalworking fluid formulations.
Developed over a three year period at the
University of Houston, MARK II Stabilizer has been received enthusiastically in a
marketplace that is motivated toward reducing the use of dangerous materials.
Mark II Stabilizer is
administered (or withheld) as a result of testing. The HMB bacterial test determines when Mark
II is to be added. |
